You are in Vietnam not the ritz. Pipe down
This place has Wi-Fi and is totally chill- and fun-
No.
Yep!
For the entire country of Vietnam there are only about 10 cases. Nobody has died. It's extremely safe!
Yes there are. Yes, there is vegetarian food
Sorry no. We do have a live event tonight. And the next one is on Tuesday.
Fantastic food and drinks. Great for lounging, doing work, breakfast lunch and dinner. The staff are very friendly and want you to enjoy your experience. My favorite place overall in Hanoi
All of the food and all of the drinks here are SO GOOD. I have never heard a complaint from any of the friends I have forced to come here with me. The restaurant is also very nicely decorated and there is a Tiny Music Club every Tuesday night that always offers wonderful musicians and good vibes :)
Came here on a weekday night. They have a few vegetarian options on the menu, which is nice. We got the tempeh Reuben sandwich, the lentil pasta, and a coconut roll snack. The sandwich was quite good - great pickled veggies on it and the combo of flavors was really satisfying. The pasta and coconut roll were a let down - wouldn’t order again. We also got two drinks - the Canadian and the sour zing. Both were really good - great balance and not too sweet. Place is a bit pricier for Vietnam, but still cheap compared to US cities.
We enjoyed one of our best meals in Hanoi at the Social Club!! The seating was comfortable, we sat upstairs in the first floor and it was a welcome reprieve with the cooler and fans working. The food was delicious and flavoursome. The Vietnamese iced coffee was strong and good to taste. We had dishes of bacon and eggs and the French toast and a starter of tofu chips. Would highly recommend a visit and we will be returning again while we’re here on our holiday.
Actually this cafe was one of my favorite cafe in Ha Noi. But, when I go to this cafe last time, I got mouldly bread craft burger.. 😰😰And then exchange new bread it takes a 15minute. But I got cold meet and its not warm bread.. other things was same.Cherry tomato pasta noodle is so old rubbish. They are twisted and doesn’t smell right.I pay for the original cost any discount.Plz, take care of your groceries and service
Yeah, the reviews are all true. This place is super dope. Amazing, delicious, unique food in a hip second-hand store vibe. Great staff as well as a diverse music selection seals the deal.If you want bland, boring and predictable, don't come here. Otherwise, this is your place!
Based on the food and drinks I'd give four stars out of 5. However since the prices are about double for similar stuff elsewhere I have to knock another star off. We both liked the ambiance but probably won't come back unless the prices align with the market.
Such a cool vibe in this place. Cocktails were great. My friend had the Laksa and it was extremely good.
Ok. Burgers were falling apart a bit, crispier&warm bun would be nice. Polenta fries were tasty. Nice decor. Service could be more attentive, faster, when taking order and not that eager when giving us questionnaires to fill (1 of them when we were about to take our first bite)
Good spot for lunch. There was a bit of a mix up with our order so was a little slow but great once it arrived. The veggie laksa actually has shrimp paste in it but was delicious and there are many vegetarian options. Would recommend the veggie burger.
Was here for an American breakfast. I had the muesli breakfast bowl and my partner had the French toast. We both had the capucchino flat coffee, which was excellent, as was our meals. A little pricey, but delicious! You won't be disappointed!!
Went there last night and against my usual advice of trying burgers in Southeast Asia, I went for it. Best decision I have made in a while, and the burger would be easily comparable with any I've had back home. Service was wonderful and tried "The Canadian" cocktail, as a Canadian would. It was delicious as well.
It's a cozy and old style venue, in a historic French style house. Small road with limited bike parking.Upstairs and downstairs are welcoming spaces with a variety of seating styles. The drinks and food were exactly as ordered, delicious as well. Though both took time to arrive, but well worth the wait. (but if u hungry on arrival be aware)
Tucked into a small alley the social club is a quit quaint place. The ambiance is chilled out and cozy. There are 3 levels to sit from the ground floor to the top floor (2nd) rooftop outside sitting. The food is served hot and fresh. The portions are generous and flavorful.Must say it sis a place to just sit around and get brunch with a few pals. The place also does evening live shows/specials.The staff is helpful and courteous.
Eclectic chic with old world influence, Hanoi Social Club delivers on atmosphere, charm and hospitality. All day breakfast, menu is extensive, and there are a plethora of drinks to choose from. I’m not sure if it was the day or what, but when we went on Saturday afternoon the delivery of our food took over 30 minutes, and we waited at least 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Food was ok, but lacking in overall flavor, and friend’s cocktails were mediocre. My kombucha ginger cocktail was delicious! Gorgeous terrace to sit out on during the evening when it’s cooler. Overall it’s lost a bit of its excellence over time. Cute place for groups of friends.
Menu was diverse with a large drink selection. I thought the desserts were better than the main courses. Very accommodating for food allergies. Everything is clearly labeled.
Really expensive. The rooftop atmosphere is warm and cozy, but we didnt had any view from our table. The food was good. Dessert and hot chocolate amazing. They mixed up the orders a lot but we got everything at the end :)
Chill, laid back, Pride-friendly hipster Cafe in bustling Hanoi! When you are in Hanoi and need a bit of Western fare to take place of your noodle routine, this is a great option. This menu features a full breakfast assortment as well as a healthy set of sandwich and mains to choose from. Staff and service is friendly and helpful, which is always a good sign. Not in the mood for a meal? The coffee is good and the upstairs is a nice place to hang out with a book.
This cafe is a 5 minute walk from the rail road that is currently shut down for maintenance. Follow the map and find it a little. It has a great vibe and sunlight pouring in during the day. The food is wonderful and the proportions are huge. They have good vegetarian options as well. Every Tuesday and Wednesday they have live music playing at the cafe. It is a must visit!
Went for some lunch. Was a nice place tucked away off the main streets. The staff were friendly and the food was good. A bit more expensive than others but the food was good. No complaints and we would eat here again.
This is the A1 hipster den for all artists and musicians and socialites. Hemingway's Paris in modern Hanoi...also check out Circle Coffee a few blocks away for jazz and cocktails.
It’s a super cozy venue with great service. While we were there late and almost around closing time, they made sure to accommodate our wishes and provide a great service. They have also an outside terrace that is worth a visit. Prices are slightly more on the higher end compared to your average street restaurant.
Seriously amazing drinks and food (we had breakfast). Cool place on 3 floors with a terrace. Cannot recommend enough!
Absolutely delicious meal. Took my boyfriend here as he was craving a Western breakfast this morning. LGBT friendly and really hip. Highly recommend.
I loved everything in this place. The food, the ambiance, the people. Do try their French toast, it's amazing. Quantity is so much , you will be full. It has a vintage feel to it which makes it extra special.
Great food, nice place and great location. Service is a bit slow, but it is still worth it. We went there every day after discovering this place. They also host live music concerts at the top floor and have a great variety of food for vegetarians. One of the best food places so far in Vietnam.
Amazing food! I got the weekly special which was chicken breast cooked perfectly, with a nice salad, and sweet potato for sides. Only knocking a star because the drink I ordered had little to no alcohol, and they could use a few ambient lights on their beautiful rooftop. Almost want to add the star back because they accept Visa cards! 👍🏼🤑 Go here and just tell them to make your cocktail strong ;)
Cool, hipster vibes. I love that they had vegetarian/vegan options for me as well as meat options for my partner. Good music, lights were dim. I was pleasantly surprised with the pride flags and posters and other progressive things such as women’s rights posters. So glad we stumbled upon this!
This place is exactly the type of cafe that I love to find! I came here for lunch on a Monday at about noon. There were a few people on the bottom level so I went up one level and found a comfy couch with a view of the terrace. There were multiple fans going and a nice cross breeze. I was immediately given a menu and ordered a falafel sandwich, French fries, a mint/lime slushy, and an iced Vietnamese milk coffee. Everything was excellent. The bread on my sandwich is one of the best I’ve had in the three years that I’ve lived and traveled in Asia. My son liked the green rice straw that came with the slushy. I loved the laid back vibe of the place too!
Adorable restaurant with expansive menu and good variety of food. They also sell local chocolates and papers. It's on a cute quiet street too.
Great food with quality ingredients. Simple and tasty
Beautiful place! Food was very good.Service was great - the staff even called a taxi for us when the ride hailing app wasn’t working correctly on my phone.Prices are definitely high for the city. But if you want to treat yourself for some tasty food in a beautiful setting, this is definitely a very good choice!
Best international caliber breakfast in Hanoi! Our hotel check in was still at 2pm and we arrived at 9am, so what better way to welcome a group of friends to a country but get dropped off at the best breakfast/brunch spot in Hanoi. We had a whole room to ourselves at the 2nd floor, took nice photos by the balcony with our signature egg/Vietnamese coffees. Devoured the scrumptious breakfast meals they had on offer. Although pricey for Hanoi standards it was a great start of day treat to a big group of travelers. I would definitely recommend this place not just for the food but also the ambiance and vibe they got going as a very hip coffee and brunch joint.
Lovely place with great service and delicious food. Great menu, with vegan and gluten free options. The third floor terrace is absolutely beautiful.
I love this place! Outstanding food and ambiance. I hope I’ll have the chance to return the next time I’m in Hanoi!
Although it took me a second to find this place, it is worth the search. They have a range of items on their menu. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. There are many books and corners to have a sit and enjoy a meal with friends or a drink in solitude. I would go back!
Westetners have usually evaluated way too much generous because most of their dishes are simple. This restaurant is just mediocre at most.
I understand this place seems to have a fervent fan following - I cannot understand why though. I’ve been here a few times now - and somehow the food has always disappointed me. It sounds great, sometimes even looks decent but is just so so. The Vietnamese milk coffee, on the other hand, is probably one of the best ones I’ve had in all of Hanoi. And maybe the chicken satay wrap, that’s pretty good too. The rest of the food falls short, sadly. Great if you’re looking for a croissant and poached egg though.
Very unique 3 story restaurant/lounge on a side street of Hanoi. Food was good. It’s a more western menu, not traditional Vietnamese. A little more expensive than most local spots, but great atmosphere. Top level is a patio, open seating for enjoying a nice day. Spent the day here working, WiFi was very reliable and staff is friendly. Would definitely come back as a digital nomad.
When in Hanoi don't miss this place. It's cozy with a chill vibe. There is this date pudding, cold coffee & hot chocolate available in the menu it's a must try.
It is a lovely, clean, affordable cafe. I ate toast with butter and honey and it was good. I totally recommend this place.
Incredibly prepared food, everything was super tasty, waitress was very helpful and on point with suggestions. Prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality. Definitely recommend you spend a meal or two here!
Great atmosphere and delicious food. My favorite was the falafel sandwich. Make sure to sit on the third floor. It's beautiful up there!
Quite disappointing. Prices are extremely high for Hanoi and the food most definitely does not justify them. I ordered the lentil pasta with tomatoes: it was just a plate of white spaghetti with a spoonful of lentils in it and some yogurt, so it was pretty dry and bland. Moreover, despite the price, both of us left quite hungry after eating. My husband's food was good, though. So maybe just avoid the lentil pasta.EDIT: the manager was really nice and understanding and offered me a dessert or half my money back, so that was appreciated.
Not very great but a regular meal for foreigners. Here, I had a Chicken Wrap with some Lentil Beans smothered right inside the wrap. I think it would be tasty if they added some BBQ Sauce with a little bit of dried Leafy Spices to finish it off. The drink, I had a Mango Ice Blend. The drink was a little too sweet but the taste was fabulous. You could taste the Yogurt enriched in with the Mangoes which makes it awesome. Well, finally, I give 3 stars as it is in the middle. It is a So-So restaurant. Trying is a good thing so go ahead and why not?
This is a great tucked away cafe with multiple floors to hang out in a cool space. Off the main street from the hustle and bustle. Food and drinks were top notch!
Really yummy food. Huge portions! Lovely staff and very private rooms. No AC but many fans.
One of the nicest service in town. A few days ago I came here and ordered a bliss ball but the staff forgot it. When he realized that he decided to make up by bringing 2 bliss balls. That's lovely. Not just the service itself but everything else. Lovely atmosphere, lovely music events, and delicious authentic food. Highly recommended.
Well, I think that’s one of those places that have gotten too famous and lost their magic. In general the interior is really nice and the menu offers a variety of drinks and dishes. But when I was there people were lining up for a table and the whole atmosphere was hectic. After finishing my drink I was kindly asked to leave...
I have been eating here for years and it is consistently a wonderful experience. From the food and drinks to the ambience and service. I love coming here for a quiet moment by myself, or with a group of jovial friends.
